Veterinary Surgeon - Proprietor
Dr Nicholas Hobson
Trained as a Veterinary Surgeon in Edinburgh and Brisbane, Dr Nick has been a practicing Veterinarian for over 20 years, and has owned Kurrajong Village Vets for the past 16 years. Nick's special interest lies in cardiology.
A proud father of two, Nick enjoys a spicy curry and shares his home with Dr Mary, Kitty the Irish Terrier and lots of broken cats.

Veterinary Surgeon - Proprietor
Dr Steven Chan
After emigrating to Australia Steven completed his Veterinary Science degree at the University of Sydney in 2013, joining Kurrajong Village Vets in 2018. In 2024 he became a partner in the practice. Steven's special interest is advanced feline internal medicine.
At home with wife Winni, there are seven cats, and an ever-growing collection of shoes! He’s also a keen fisherman, enjoying time out on the water whenever he gets the chance.

Veterary Surgeon
Alexis Clarke
Originally from South Africa, Alexis completed a degree in Equine Science before heading to Edinburgh, Veterinary School. Alexis spent 16 years working in both first opinion and referral equine practices in the UK and Australia before moving to small animal practice. Outside the clinic, Alexis is busy with her husband, two young children, and horse—enjoying riding and amateur showjumping whenever she can.

Veterinary Surgeon
Dr Mary Nicoll
Dr. Mary has been a passionate Veterinarian for 40 years after studying in London. She owned a successful cat clinic in London before moving to Australia in 2007. Mary has a special interest in feline medicine and is actively involved in running a local riding club.
A proud mother of two, Mary enjoys spending time with her horses, her Irish Terrier Kitty, a household full of rescued "broken" cats - and Dr Nick!

Practice Manager
Deanne Pinsuti
Before joining our team, Deanne spent 25 years in the manufacturing industry as a Manager and Estimator. In 2021, she made the exciting switch to veterinary care, focusing on Customer Service and Practice Management
At home, Deanne shares her life with her husband and daughter and a lively bunch of horses, cats and dogs.
She also plays an active role in running her local riding club and when not on her horse, can usually be found in a quiet place with her head in a book.

Receptionist/Customer Service
Hannah Prime
Hannah has been working as a veterinary nurse at Kurrajong Village Vets since 2012.
She took a brief break to focus on her human nursing degree, but soon realised her heart was still with animals, and you will now see her on the front desk.
Outside of work, Hannah is a busy mum to her young daughter and shares her home with a one eyed cat & a couple of carpet pythons. Hannah is a big fan of the outdoors and loves heading off on bushwalks and picnics whenever she gets the chance.

Head Veterinary Nurse
Kylie Hill
Kylie first joined Kurrajong Village Vets back in 1997, starting as a dedicated veterinary student before stepping into her role as a Veterinary Nurse. Over the years, she has become an integral part of our team, bringing experience, care, and a genuine passion for animal health. Kylie has a particular interest in radiology.
Outside of the clinic, Kylie loves doing GRC training with her Boxer, Bonnie, and at home she shares life with her horses, a flock of chickens, and her partner, David.

Senior Veterinary Nurse
Lucinda Vella
Lucy first joined us as a student in 2015 and went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2018. She has a strong passion for the emergency side of veterinary care and has a keen interest in pathology.
When she’s not at the clinic, Lucy enjoys a good coffee and spending quality time with her husband Luke and their two children. She also has a full house—with dogs Rodger and Perkins, Nigerian dwarf goats, plenty of chickens, and a Brahman cow named Betsie

Veterinary Nurse
Ryan Langley
Ryan has been a Veterinary Nurse with us since 2018, and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science in Animal Studies at University. Ryan has a passion for surgical cases and a strong interest in pathology.
A true animal lover, Ryan shares his home with a full house of pets, including three cattle dogs—Blue, Lilly, and DJ—a Cavoodle named Charlie, a bearded dragon named Lizzy, a turtle named Lightning, and a budgie named Sunny.

Receptionist/Nurse
Angela Azar
Ange has been with us since 2023 as a Receptionist/Nurse on weekends and is currently well on the way to completing her degree in Veterinary Science. Ange has a particular soft spot for big dogs and elderly cats, and really enjoys engaging with our vets to increase her own learning and skills.

At home Ange has her own horse, but really enjoys heaping love and attention on our patients and boarders on the weekend, and seeing to their comfort.

Veterinary Assistant/Student Nurse
Jacinta Skipworth
Currently completing her Cert IV Vet Nursing Certificate, Jacinta joined the team in August 2025.

Jacinta is the proud owner of Luna the cat, and is a keen gamer when not heaping love and attention on our patients.
